What personal data is processed and why?

EDEN 1969 collects and processes users' personal data as follows:

  • On the Website: Personal data collected through the contact and newsletter subscription forms

Whether data entry is mandatory or optional is indicated at the time of collection. The mandatory provision of certain personal data is necessary for EDEN 1969 to implement the purposes set out above. 

Personal data collected through the Buyer's registration form

Purposes of processing Creating an account to access the Buyer area

Retention and archiving period

Active database: Retained for the duration of account activity and until the account is deleted by the user or after a period of 2 years of inactivity. EDEN 1969 will notify Buyers of any account that has been inactive for more than 2 years of the upcoming account deletion, unless the user takes action within 90 days. In the absence of a response from the user, EDEN 1969 will delete the account and archive the data. Archive database : 5 years from the date of account deletion, for the purpose of establishing, exercising, or defending a legal claim (limitation period).

Purpose of processing Use of the Buyer's Account

Purposes of processing Provision of the services offered by the website, namely account management, order management and tracking, delivery, warranty management and after-sales service, invoicing and payment. 
Legal basis Performance of the contract
Retention and archiving period Active database : Retained for the duration of account activity and until the account is deleted by the user or after a period of 2 years of inactivity  EDEN 1969 will notify users of any account that has been inactive for more than 2 years of the upcoming account deletion, unless the user takes action within 90 days. In the absence of a response from the user, EDEN 1969 will delete the account and archive the data.   Archive database : 5 years from the date of account deletion, for the purpose of establishing, exercising, or defending a legal claim (limitation period).Contracts exceeding 120 euros and invoices are archived for a period of 10 years.

The data listed above is mandatory as it is necessary for EDEN 1969 to implement the purposes set out above.
